The Lincoln Journal Star has endorsed Jayne Snyder for the May 5th General Election.
Jayne Snyder, 64, already has accomplished much for the residents of Lincoln.
She was one of the private investors who bought the railroad right-of-way for the MoPac Trail and then gave it to the Lower Platte South Natural Resource District after they solicited enough donations to pay off their debt and develop the trail.
As owner of a physical therapy clinic, she would bring the perspective of a small business owner and health expert to the City Council. Her experience would come in handy as the number of health jobs is expected to soar in coming years.
A Democrat, Snyder has pledged to “build bridges and find common ground.” Her record of community service is evidence that she puts the words into practice.
